Data Protection and Privacy

1. General: The information on this site is held in accordance with the requirements and principles of Swiss law as defined in the Federal Act on Data Protection of 19 June 1992. In particular, no personal data is captured without the user's knowledge and consent.
2. Data capture: Personal data is captured only in the context of a customer order and is used only for the purpose of order fulfilment. The entered data is encrypted before transmission, to protect against unauthorised disclosure. The customer's name and address details are forwarded to us to enable delivery of the goods, but credit card details remain secure and undisclosed with the payment provider.
3. Storage and use of personal data: P.Young & Partner stores the data to enable contact with the customer, eg. in case of a problem with supply or delivery, or in the context of occasional e-mailing, unless the customer has specifically requested not to be included.
4. Disclosure of personal details: P.Young & Partner treats customer personal details as strictly confidential and does not disclose or forward these to third parties under any circumstances.
5. Cookies: P.Young & Partner does not use cookies. The only exception is the facility built in to the ShopFactory software, which enables the customer to be recognised on a return visit, thus avoiding the need to re-enter name and address details in future orders.
