The Langdales from above Tarn Hows, Cumbria

  • Scafell Pike from Harter Fell, Cumbria

Scafell Pike from Harter Fell, Cumbria

These two paintings of the English Lake District were based on a visit in September 2014, during a week of glorious late-summer weather when the fells were at their best.

If you appreciate mountain landscapes and wild natural scenery, you may like to browse through the collection of paintings by Peter Young. Celebrating the beauty of light and colour on unspoilt places and affirming the value of our natural heritage, these images in paint on canvas aim to inspire a sense of wonder in the world around us. Reproductions of the paintings in the form of digital fine art prints and cards are available to individual order.

  • A5 card

A digital fine art print is a high-quality reproduction of an original painting, which provides an affordable alternative to the purchase of the original and allows the image to be shared by a wider audience. The use of UltraChrome ® pigmented inks together with precise tone control enables a near-perfect rendering of the original colours. Printed on pure cotton-rag artist paper they meet the highest archival standards and ensure an exceptionally long-lasting picture quality.
